Perissa is a tourist resort, with a long impressive stretch of beach with black sand. The resort has almost joined with the village of Emporio to the west.

Kamari (4 km) - North of Perissa, Kamari is a tourist hot-spot with a beach, restaurants, bars and shops.

Fira (15 km) - The capital of the island lies to the north-west.
